Sleep Laboratory at Flinders Private Hospital
The Sleep Unit at Flinders Private Hospital offers sleep studies to privately insured patients and Department of Veteran's Affairs (DVA) Gold Card holders. As an in-hospital service, patients are cared for by professionally trained and experienced Sleep Scientists in their own private room with fully equipped state-of-the-art technology.
Studies are continuously attended during the night enabling for a high quality data acquisition and patient satisfaction.
Following admission to Flinders Private Hospital’s Sleep Unit, a follow up consultation with an Accredited Sleep Physician is arranged for patients to discuss results and any required treatment plans.
We cater for the full spectrum of sleep disorders, namely Snoring, Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, Central Sleep Apnoea, Periodic Leg Movement Disorder, Insomnia and Narcolepsy. We can also assist in monitoring the effectiveness of treatments such as Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy & Mandibular Advancement Splints.

To have a sleep study at Flinders Private Hospital, a referral form from a medical practitioner to one of our Sleep and Respiratory Physicians is required.
